In Friday's non-league battle, the host Piedmont Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Grant Generals.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Edmond Memorial nudged Eisenhower (Lawton, OK), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Generals (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK). The Pirates come into the 6A District 2 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Putnam City was nudged by Deer Creek (Edmond, OK), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
