Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lobos face the Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 6. Lopez will attempt to better on its 24-2 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 28-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX).

The Dragons now have a 22-3 record.
