The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) and the visiting Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), saw Alcoa's softball squad achieve victory over Honaker by a count of 9-0.

The Tornadoes now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Walker Valley for a non-league match on Friday, April 5. Alcoa will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Honaker falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Friday, April 5. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 9-5. David Crockett won 19-0 in their recent non-league match against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN)
