The Augusta Southeastern Suns the visiting Monmouth-Roseville Titans softball squad by a final score of 6-2 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Suns (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Liberty, IL). The Eagles go into the West Central battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Liberty held off Beardstown (Beardstown, IL), 20-11, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Three Rivers West battle on Saturday, April 6. Monmouth-Roseville will confront a Rams squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Morrison (Morrison, IL). The Rams record now stands at 5-7.
