Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loris for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. Belton-Honea Path will battle a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Dillon (Dillon, SC). The Lions record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, North Myrtle Beach falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to battle the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Whiteville won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
