The Mt. Baker Mountaineers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Cashmere Bulldogs to 3 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Mt. Baker moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to clash with the Lyncs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Wednesday, April 10. The Lyncs come into the game with a record of 2-0. Lynden Christian won 19-1 in their recent league game against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail game, on Tuesday, April 9. Cashmere will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Wapato (Wapato, WA).
