The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets softball team (New Roads, LA), was routed 6-0 in Friday's non-league test with the host Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA)

Coming up next, the Cubs encounter the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 6. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record.

The Hornets (16-13) will now prepare for their test against Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Vermilion Catholic edged Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA), 10-5, in a league test.
