Alabama High School Softball - Dale County gets by Smiths Station

The Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL) softball nipped the visiting Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL), 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (12-16) will now prepare for their bout against Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Alabama Christian Academy held off Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL), 11-5, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Brewbaker Tech for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. Smiths Station will confront a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Rams record now stands at 10-9.
