The Eagles now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anthony for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Newton will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Farina South Central (Farina, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Farina South Central falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Lawrenceville lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL)
