The Foran Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Harding Presidents to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Foran improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lions host Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, April 6. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 2-0. Amity Regional won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Danbury (Danbury, CT)

In their next game, the Presidents clash with the Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 8. Harding will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).
