Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fremd for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Wheaton North will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Glenbard West falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Willowbrook won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)
