Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) and the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), witnessed Pittsfield's softball squad prevail over Jacksonville by a count of 14-3.

The Saukees now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6.

With the loss, Jacksonville moves to 2-5 on the season. The Crimsons travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to face the Senators in a Central State Eight match on Monday, April 8. The Senators go into the match with a record of 6-2. Springfield lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Calhoun (Hardin, IL)
