The South Range Raiders softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Spring Mills Cardinals to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Range moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Struthers (Struthers, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a Northeast Eight Athletic game on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 1-4. Struthers won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Crestview (Columbiana, OH)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Penfield Patriots (Penfield, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 5. Spring Mills will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH).
