Illinois High School Baseball - Deerfield holds off Antioch

The Deerfield Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Antioch Sequoits to 4 in the Warriors non-league win on Saturday.
The Warriors now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vernon Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Deerfield will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Antioch drops to 5-4 on the year. The Sequoits host Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 6-5.
