The Covenant Christian Academy Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Assumption Mustangs to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now own a 30-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Curtis Christian for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Covenant Christian Academy will play a Patriots team coming off a 13-0 league win over Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 19-11.

With the defeat, Assumption drops to 2-24 on the year. The Mustangs travel to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA) to play the Gators in a 4A District 8 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Gators go into the test with a record of 13-15. South Terrebonne won 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA)
