North Carolina High School Baseball - Ayden - Grifton loses to Corinth Holders

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers baseball squad (Ayden, NC), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC)

With the triumph, Corinth Holders moves its record to 13-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to encounter the Titans in a Greater Neuse River 4A bout on Wednesday, April 9. The Titans enter the bout with a record of 0-10.

The Chargers (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars enter the Eastern Plains 2A bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, SouthWest Edgecombe was overwhelmed by Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
