The Downers Grove North Trojans baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Benet Academy Redwings to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.
The Trojans now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban - Silver test on Tuesday, April 8.
With the defeat, Benet Academy drops to 4-3 on the year. The Redwings host Kenwood (Chicago, IL) to play the Broncos in a non-league test on Sunday, April 13. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 1-2.
