In Saturday's league bout, the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next up, the Cadets encounter the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Wednesday, April 9. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record.
The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs enter the Washington Catholic bout with a 3-10 record. In their last bout, Bishop McNamara was overwhelmed by DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 7-0, in a league bout.
