In Saturday's non-league bout, the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), by a tally of 11-5.

Next up, the Gators encounter the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) in a 4A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, April 8. South Terrebonne will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 2-24 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).

The Eagles (13-14) will now prepare for their bout against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 23-4 record. In their last bout, Holy Cross edged Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA), 12-2, in a league bout.
