The McMinn Central Chargers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Saturday.
The Chargers now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Roane County for a 2A District 3 test on Monday, April 7. McMinn Central will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-4.
With the defeat, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences drops to 6-8 on the year. The Patriots host Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 4-10. Boyd-Buchanan lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)
