In Saturday's non-league bout, the West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 9. West Vigo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
The Vikings/Viqueens (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Grundy County (Coalmont, TN). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A District 7 bout with a 3-14 record. In their last bout, Grundy County was overwhelmed by Huntland (Huntland, TN), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
