The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) and the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), saw East Coweta's baseball team gain a win over Locust Grove by a tally of 9-5.

The Indians (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Starr's Mill held off Central (Carrollton, GA), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 battle, on Monday, April 14. Locust Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 12-11 record after their 5-4 league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA).
