In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) baseball squad the visiting Sequim Wolves (Sequim, WA), by a tally of 7-4.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Monday, April 7. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bayhawks enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA).
