The Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. Stonington will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Lyman Memorial drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to clash with the Centaurs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. The Centaurs go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Woodstock Academy won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
