The Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) baseball trounced the visiting Minor Tigers (Adamsville, AL), 13-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 15-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sylacauga for a 5A Area 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 8.
With the defeat, Minor drops to 6-19 on the year. The Tigers host Homewood (Homewood, AL) to clash with the Patriots in a 6A Area 9 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 22-6. Homewood won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL)
