The Rock Bridge Bruins baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Moberly Spartans to 1 in the Bruins non-league win on Saturday.

The Bruins now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Macon for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Rock Bridge will play a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Moberly drops to 8-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Mexico (Mexico, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 7-3. Mexico lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Hannibal (Hannibal, MO)
