The Mondovi Buffaloes baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Osceola Chieftains to 5 in the Buffaloes non-league win on Saturday.
The Buffaloes now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Boyceville for a Dunn-St. Croix test on Thursday, April 10.
With the defeat, Osceola drops to 0-2 on the year. The Chieftains host Prescott (Prescott, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Middle Border test on Tuesday, April 8. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 1-0. Prescott won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI)
