In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sylmar Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Vaughn White Tigers.
The Spartans (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Glendale beat Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the White Tigers meet the East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, April 7. Vaughn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
