In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Taft Toreadors.

The Jackrabbits (27-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Redondo Union beat Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Toreadors play the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Monday, April 7. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 18-13 season record. The Chancellors come into the challenge with a 24-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA).
