With the victory, Mentor improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Region 1 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 1-2.

The Golden Eagles now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a Region 5 game on Monday, April 7. GlenOak will play a Hornets team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
