Manhasset Indians (Manhasset, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), 14-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Manhasset advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians host Massapequa (Massapequa, NY) to play the Chiefs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Wolves now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorktown for a Section I -C game on Tuesday, April 8. John Jay will play a Huskers team coming off a 16-8 non-league win over Shaker (Latham, NY). The Huskers record now stands at 2-2.
