The Mount Tabor Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host First Flight Nighthawks to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Parkland for a Central Piedmont 4A bout on Monday, April 7. Mount Tabor will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, First Flight moves to 10-2 on the year. The Nighthawks host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Eagles in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Monday, April 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Northeastern won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC)
