Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln-Way East nudges Lyons

The Lincoln-Way East Griffins soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Lyons Lions to 2 in the Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Griffins now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lockport for a SouthWest Suburban Blue bout on Tuesday, April 8. Lincoln-Way East will play a Porters squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Porters record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Lyons moves to 0-2 on the year. The Lions host Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to play the Hilltoppers in a West Suburban - Silver bout on Wednesday, April 9. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Glenbard West won 7-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
