The Triad Knights (Troy, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), 6-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Waterloo for a Mississippi Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Triad will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Marist moves to 4-3 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to encounter the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Monday, April 7. The Corsairs go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Carmel lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL)
