In Saturday's non-league bout, the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), by a tally of 9-3.
Next up, the Yellowjackets encounter the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Berkeley will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 12-5 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
With the defeat, Freedom drops to 8-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Heritage (Brentwood, CA) to play the Patriots in a test on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-5. Heritage lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Valley (Ceres, CA)
