In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Palatine Pirates.
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Fremd by New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 10-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates face the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 8. Palatine will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
