The Big Walnut Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored 4 points and limited the host Westerville Central Warhawks to 3 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dublin Scioto for a Region 1 outing on Tuesday, April 8. Big Walnut will face a Irish squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Irish record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Westerville Central falls to 1-3 on the year. The Warhawks host Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH) to face the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Pickerington North won 11-9 in their recent non-league outing against Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH)
