Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) and the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), witnessed Lake Norman's lacrosse squad hold off Blue Ridge by a count of 10-9.

The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Marvin Ridge nipped Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 17-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Barons meet the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils (Fork Union, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 8. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 16-10 non-league win over The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA).
