The Carmel Corsairs triumphed over the host Vernon Hills Cougars lacrosse team by a tally of 10-5 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next up, the Corsairs confront the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) in a match, on Thursday, April 10. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors come into the Central Suburban match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Deerfield tipped Grayslake (Grayslake, IL), 20-7, in a non-league match.
