The Fitch Falcons lacrosse team (Groton, CT), was overwhelmed 14-8 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI)
With the victory, Westerly advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to encounter the Patriots in a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Portsmouth lost 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)
The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Small battle on Tuesday, April 8. Fitch will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
