The Hoover Buccaneers held off the visiting Hendersonville Spartans [Hendersonville/Beech/Hyde/Station Camp/Aaron Academy] Spartans lacrosse team by a tally of 10-9 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL) in a AL East game, on Friday, April 11. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 16-6 league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, AL).

The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 6-1 record.
