New York High School Lacrosse - Yorktown overwhelms John Jay

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Yorktown Huskers lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-2 win over the John Jay Wolves.

The Huskers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Side (Rockville Centre, NY). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, South Side nipped Roslyn (Roslyn Heights, NY), 15-14, in a league contest.

Next, the Wolves meet the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 8. John Jay will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Somers (Lincolndale, NY).
