The Annawan Braves/Bravettes softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Alleman Pioneers to 7 in the Braves/Bravettes non-league win on Saturday.

The Braves/Bravettes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashton-Franklin Center for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30.

With the loss, Alleman moves to 3-9 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL) to battle the Silver Streaks in a Western Big 6 match on Monday, April 7. The Silver Streaks go into the match with a record of 0-7. Galesburg lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL)
