Ohio High School Softball - Jefferson Area succumbs to Austintown-Fitch

April 5, 2025: Youngstown, OH 44515

In Saturday's non-league test, the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), by a tally of 16-3.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) in a All-American test, on Monday, April 7. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).

The Falcons (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors go into the Chagrin Valley - Lake test with a 0-0 record.
