Next, the Tornados play the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 7. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA).

The Matadors (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Whitney was routed by Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA), 7-6, in a league challenge.
