The Pewaukee Pirates softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Brookfield Academy Blue Knights to 1 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Berlin West for a Woodland - West battle on Monday, April 7. Pewaukee will confront a Vikings team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Brookfield Academy moves to 0-2 on the season. The Blue knights host St. Francis (St. Francis, WI) to confront the Mariners in a Midwest Classic battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 1-0. St. Francis won 21-3 in their recent non-league battle against Cudahy (Cudahy, WI)
