California High School Softball - Roosevelt bounces Capistrano Valley

The Roosevelt Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars to 8 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiago for a Big VIII battle on Tuesday, April 8. Roosevelt will confront a Sharks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Capistrano Valley moves to 10-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 12-5.
