New Jersey High School Softball - West Essex sneaks past Colonia

The West Essex Knights softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Colonia Patriots to 9 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Dominic Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. West Essex will confront a Lions team coming off a 7-6 league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Colonia moves to 2-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ) to confront the Vikings in a GMC - White battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 0-2. South Brunswick lost 18-2 in their recent non-league battle against Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ)
