In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting E.D. White Cardinals softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Northshore Panthers.
The Cardinals (15-9) will now prepare for their match against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier come into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, De La Salle nipped Landry (New Orleans, LA), 16-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 match, on Tuesday, April 8. Northshore will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 10-16 record after their 19-9 non-league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
