In Saturday's league match, the visiting Union Farmers softball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Hillsborough Raiders.
The Farmers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Barrons go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Woodbridge tipped South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 7-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 8. Hillsborough will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
